The Colony Motel has many of our young guests come back and stay with us many years after this special event. Some with their own families.Your Prom Weekend should be a fun memory. It should also be a safe memory. With safety in mind, the management of the Colony Motel needs to impose the following rules.
.) Consumption of alcoholic beverages are prohibited by our guests under the age of 21. Guests over 21 observed to be distributing alcohol to minors will be reported to the authorities.
.) Each room must be registered to someone aged 18 or older. That person must also reside in that room during the entire stay (an 18 year old can't sign for more than one room). Each person staying in the room must sign in at check-in time to be considered "registered". (ie... you leave, someone else can't take your place)
.)Unregistered guests (ie... visitors) are not allowed on the premises. The property is for the use of our registered guests only. Meet your friends on the boardwalk. We do this for YOUR safety.
.) We require a refundable $50.00 "Security" Deposit per person registered to a room ($200.00 minimum per room) in addition to the price of the room (Every motel in Seaside Heights requires a security deposit during Prom Season). This fee is payable at check-in. (This is NOT the reservation deposit that was paid to hold the room.) The Security Deposit is held against any damage caused to the room (or property) during your stay. The room will be inspected at check-out time for damage. If the result of the inspection is satisfactory, the total Security Deposit will be returned at that point. Any damage found will be deducted against the Security Deposit. If the damage to the room is greater than the Security Deposit you will be expected to pay for all additional damage (or replacement costs if deemed unrepairable) prior to check-out. Believe us, we really don't want to keep your security deposit so PLEASE respect the room and property.
.) Loud radio playing will not be tolerated at any time.
.) Fighting will be a reason for immediate eviction with loss of ALL monies paid.
.) On Prom Weekends we require ALL registered guests to wear a plastic wristband that has our logo on it. These wristbands are water-proof, shower-proof, and ocean-proof. In other words, it doesn't come off easily without scissors, which we will gladly remove for you on check-out. Wristbands must be shown to management any time you are requested to do so. Removing your wristband and giving it to an unregistered person for the purpose of his/her gaining access to the property would be grounds for eviction and loss of ALL money paid.
.) We have on-premise parking for only 1 vehicle per room. This vehicle must have the Colony Parking Permit visibly displayed on it's dashboard while on the property. All unregistered vehicles on Colony Motel property will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. The Colony Motel is not responsible for parking tickets you may receive because of any off-premise parking.
.) The management reserves the right to impose any other rule or regulation deemed necessary to maintain order.
